A Colonial Beach man is jailed without bond after leading Spotsylvania County authorities on a high-speed chase. According to News on the Neck the man identified as Allen Weathers was wanted in Fredericksburg for kidnapping and assault and when officers spotted him Weathers took off. The chase lasted nearly a half-hour and one police cruiser was struck. Weathers faces 7 new charges from the pursuit along with the outstanding warrant.
