Dominion Energy issued a request for proposals to acquire up to 1.2 GW of renewable energy projects and 125 MW of energy storage projects in Virginia. In March state regulators granted Dominion’s request to add the additional solar and energy storage capacity. Dominion officials say proposals will be reviewed on an ongoing basis throughout the year. The utility plans to issue a separate power purchase proposal request later this year.
