The General Assembly is still working on the Virginia 2-year budget after the two chambers could not could not resolve differences in their respective spending plans during the recent special session. According to the Virginia Mercury while work is continuing on working out the differences lawmakers have no plans to conduct a full meeting on the budget that would allow the public to hear about the proceedings.
