The Town of Urbanna held a dedication for its Hometown Heroes military banners last Friday at the Urbanna Town Green. According to the Southside Sentinel friends and families purchased banners to honor a veteran related to them and the banners are on street light poles along Virginia and Cross streets. The banners will be displayed until Labor Day after which time the banner will be stored and returned to the lamp posts for Memorial Day 2023.
