Lancaster County lawmakers pass an updated solar project ordinance to address issues associated with numerous proposed small-scale facilities. According to the Rappahannock Record the new ordinance addresses limiting slopes, increasing setbacks, and holding applicants responsible for added engineering or technical costs associated with an application. The new regulations are in additiom to ones passed last year for larger-scale projects. Approval of several applications was tabled to allow the board of supervisors to develop the new ordinance.
