The master plan is released for the proposed TriWay Trail linking Kilmarnock, Irvington & Whitestone. The trail is a Lancaster County government initiative with near-universal support by citizens as well as federal, state, and local representatives. The goal of the proposed nine and half-mile multi-use trail is to improve two major community focuses: the health needs of the elderly and the economic growth essential to the local workforce.
