The Town of Kilmarnock and the Northern Neck are among the 27 communities awarded grants from Virginia’s DRIVE 2.0 State Tourism Plan. The program developed by the Virginia Tourism Corporation began with workshops where e community stakeholders focused on developing or enhancing tourism promotion, product development, and advocacy strategies. At the end of mplementation communities receive a $10,000 grant to assist with further developing these plans.
