Tappahannock Mayor Roy M. Gladding issued a statement on last Friday’s Prince St. fire. Gladding said the town is blessed to have had the Tappahannock – Essex Volunteer Fire Department, law enforcement and all the emergency services available to battle this fire. He added that the outstanding display of citizenship and volunteerism should make everyone in the community very proud. The town is actively working with many parties to see that it fully recovers from this tragic event.
