Breezeline’s fiber facilities sustained significant outages on Tuesday afternoon when a truck accident damaged overhead fiber cables. It resulted in a service interruption for customers across Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia. Crews worked as quickly as possible to complete the necessary repairs. Breezeline officials say the repair of fiber optics is a very complex and time consuming process. Some Lancaster County customers reported on social media their service had been restored.
