October Is Virginia Wine Month

October is Wine Month in Virginia. It is the nation’s oldest consecutive wine month and attracts millions of tourists to the region. According to a recent study Virginia Wine generates an estimated $1.73 billion in economic impact and over 10,400 jobs. This year’s observance features a limited edition wine release of Cornus Virginicus, a collaboration between First Lady Suzanne Youngkin and Barboursville Vineyards. It celebrates Virginia agriculture and will include a donation to Virginia 4-H and Virginia Future armers of America.
