The Virginia Department of Education released its report on this year’s public high school graduations. Just over 92% of seniors graduated which is slightly lower than 2021’s rate but higher than the two years before the pandemic. 94% of female senior students and 90.2% of male seniors graduated on time. Nearly 5-1/4% of seniors dropped out with 2/3 of those males. The full report is available at doe.virginia.gov.
