DMV Encourages Conversations about Safe Driving Habits with Teen Drivers

While driver education classes help instill the rules of the road and provide some basic driving experience, they are only one component of helping teens practice safe driving. Studies show young drivers underestimate dangerous situations, don’t recognize hazards plus speed and tailgate more.
