Town of Montross officials receive contractor bids for upgrades to its water system. News on the Neck reports the low bid for the water line is from J. Sanders Construction at nearly $2.3 million. The same company won the bid for a replacement well required by the state Department of Environmental Quality at just over a million dollars and includes improvements to the well house. Resource International won the bid to paint the water tower and just over $53,000.
