Gloucester County’s Chesapeake Bay Programs Administrator is appointed by Gov. Glenn Youngkin to serve as one of four Virginia representatives to the Potomac River Fisheries Commission. The Gazette-Journal reports Ronald W. Owens is named to the bi-state regulatory authority for fishery matters in the mainstem tidal Potomac River from Washington, D.C., to the Chesapeake Bay. The commission is comprised of eight members with 4 from Maryland and 4 from Virginia.
