The Virginia Department of Transportation is telling drivers if they are venturing out today they should pack a winter emergency kit in their car. Items include water, snacks, a phone charger, jumper cables, gloves, blankets and a first aid kit. Also make sure you have a full tank of has in case you get stuck and don’t get out of your car if you do get stuck.
