The Montross Town Council passes a resolution recognizing Robert Barker for serving on the council since the end of 2018 when Ferdie Chandler stepped down from his seat. According to Westmoreland News the town council passed the resolution of recognition at their final meeting of the year. Mayor Terry Cosgrove said he appreciated Barker’s willingness to serve adding that every town council needs someone to ask the hard questions sometimes.
