We’re learing more about the timeline for repairing the Chandler’s Mill Pond Dam. Westmoreland News reports the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources infoirmed the county Board of Supervisors that contracts were being negotiated with an architect and engineer firm to finalize the permits needed for work at the dam. DWR officials say they expect be able to begin work next month with it being another 18 to 24 months to finish the project.
