Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie announced he will seek reelection in the November 2023 General Election. The Rappahannock Record reports McCranie is running for his third term and is in his 34th year of law enforcement. He says he will always seek to serve the people with excellence and enthusiasm, by fostering and protecting the community and by being visible, accessible, honest and fair.
