The Virginia Department of Transportation is holding a public meeting on Monday about a proposed project to modify the intersection of Route 17 and Route 610 in Gloucester County to improve safety. The proposed project would reduce the risk of crashes by minimizing the number of conflict points where vehicle paths intersect. The meeting is from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Petsworth Elementary School on George Washington Memorial Highway.
