The court hearing on misdemeanor charges against Mathews County supervisor Mike Walls will now be held in September. The Gazette-Journal reports the hearing was to take place earlier this week but the judge assigned to the case cited an unnamed conflict of interest. The charges stemmed from an incident earlier this month with Billy Cook, a candidate for the Mathews Board of Supervisors.
