Virginia State Police report over 400 people were killed in crashes during the first 6 months of 20o23. State Police Superintendent Gary T. Settlw says “that means Virginia is averaging roughly two traffic deaths every day, and that’s unacceptable.” Troopers will be conducting extra patrols from today throgh midnight on the 4th to catch intoxicated, distracted and aggressive drivers.
