A “Fall Into Kilmarnock” festival has been slated for October 21 with the promotion ending October 28 with the Pumpkin Walk trick-or-treating event at Town Centre Park. The Pumpkin Walk is sponsored by the Lancaster by the Bay Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the town. According to the Rappahannock Record, the town is also promoting “Shoptober” as an additional retail-focused promotion, Abbott said. This ticketed event includes merchants throughout Middlesex and Lancaster counties, offering specials throughout the month of October. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Healthy Harvest Food Bank.
