The Rappahannock Concert Association recently received a large donation from the Florence and Coleman Broaddus Fund, administered by the Arlington Community Foundation. One of their members, Lynn Broaddus, recently attended an RCA concert and was impressed with the Broaddus Fund and RCA’s common commitment to support public school music projects to the tune of $9,000. The projects funded through this donation are a new set of choral risers for the elementary school, refurbishing the high school timpani and help towards purchase of a tuba for the middle school ban.
