The Lancaster by the Bay Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for 2023 Business Person of the Year Award and the Dennis Burchill Lifetime Achievement Award, to be honored at the next annual meeting and dinner. The Rappahannock Record reports the event will take place in early 2024, said executive director Sydney Moss Walters. The exact date and venue will be announced soon. Earlier this year, the Chamber recognized 2022 honorees Katie and David Dew for their business leadership, and introduced the new Dennis Burchill Lifetime Achievement Award, said Walters. Nominations must be submitted at www.lancasterva.com, and must include a comprehensive overview—to the best of the nominator’s ability—of the nominee’s qualifications, achievements and contributions. All submissions are due by November 30.
