‘No Cost’ Medical Care At Tappahannock-Essex VFD

Thanks to a unique partnership, local residents will be able to receive “no-cost” medical care at the Tappahannock-Essex Volunteer Fire Department on Airport Road in Tappahannock. The Rappahannock Times reports the fire department hopes to ink a contract soon with the VCU School of Nursing Mobile Health and Wellness Program and the Capital Area Health Network and hopes to start its offerings on Thursdays here beginning in November. The program offers a wide range of services including wellness coaching, care navigation, health assessment and referral.
