At the October School Board meeting, Westmoreland County Schools deputy superintendent Cathy Rice indicated that the accreditation results were even better than what had been initially let on. Specifically, the initial report indicated that Cople Elementary, Washington District Elementary, and Montross Middle School would all keep their accreditation status for this year. The only one waiting by that point was the proverbial new kid on the block, Westmoreland High School. Turns out WHS will be joining the others in its status.
