Essex High School’s Trojan Marching Band and Colorguard took home the top victory – the Grand Marshal Award – at the Urbanna Oyster Festival Parade for the second year in a row, on November 4. Approximately 60 members strong, catch their full halftime show at EHS’ home playoff games this month and at the Tappahannock Christmas Parade on December 3. Additionally, reports the Rappahannock Times, they will hold their Winter Concert where they will showcase the marching band, concert band, and Chosen Trojans rockband on December 19 at 6 p.m. in the EHS Auditorium.
