Arts in the Middle (AIM) recently announced an open call for artists to exhibit in its annual pop-up Christmas Gallery. The gallery will be located in the lobby and Rappahannock Room of the Chesapeake Inn at 250 Virginia St. in Urbanna, from Thursday, Nov. 30, to Saturday, Dec. 2. Applications should be turned in as soon as possible. The Christmas Gallery, an annual event organized by AIM, showcases work by Middlesex County-area artists working in a variety of media, and has drawn hundreds of visitors each year. Applications are open to artists working in all fine arts mediums, residing in the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck.
