More than 30 community organizations are sharing in $260,000 in donations from the Mason and Lula Cole Charitable Trust. According to the Rappahannock Record the fund was established by the Coles who had successful careers and wanted to contibute to the community for many years to come. The trust also allowed the Coles to reduce their tax burden meaning more money is available for grants. The donations were awarded last month through a virtual ceremony.
