The Rappahannock Volunteer Firemen’s Association announced that 16-year-old Middlesex Volunteer Firefighter Grayson Shelton died on Monday. Grayson is the son of Mark Shelton and his wife Susan. The elder Shelton is also a member of the Urbanna company and posted on his Facebook page that Grayson had a cardiac issue and was airlifted to VCU where he was in intensive care. The association expressed its thanks to Grayson for his volunteer service to the community.
