Artist Sarah Marshall Elliott is the winner of the “You Be the Judge” exhibit contest at the RAL Art Center in Kilmarnock. According to the Rappahannock Record Elliot’s oil painting entitled “Drift Away With Us” received the most votes from members and visitors in the competition that ended last Saturday. Don Presnell placed second for his acrylic on board, “Stars and Starfish,” and Mel Neale was third, for her pastel, “Portrait of a Girl.”
