Online sports bettors in Virginia now have a third provider to chose from. BetMGM launched its app on Wednesday joining FanDuel Sportsbook and Draft Kings which opened for business last week. Back in September the Virginia Lottery Board gave the green light to online sports betting and started accepting applications a month later. The Board’s regulations limit the number of providers to 12. Betting is not allowed on Virginia college teams but it is allowed for other colleges and major league sports.
