A pair of all-electric-powered school buses are now part of the Middlesex County Public Schools fleet. The Southside Sentinel reports the buses were obtained through a partnership with Dominion Energy which created a program 2 years ago to pay the difference in cost between an electric bus and a traditional diesel-powered vehicle. Dominion also paid for the electrical equipment to recharge the buses at St. Clare Walker Middle School in Locust Hill.
