Lancaster County 5th District Supervisor Dr. Robert Westbrook says wearing masks doesn’t stop the spread of COVID-19 and the virus isn’t that deadly to begin with. According to Northern Neck News Westbrook asked the board to support a resolution asking the Virginia Department of Health to tell Gov. Ralph Northam that mask mandates are “draconian” and useless. After a spirited discussion at the Jan. 28 Board meeting no action was taken on Westbrook’s request.
