Tag Sales Called Off Again In White Stone

An increase in revenue from White Stone’s food, cigarette and local sales taxes means residents don’t have to buy vehicle tags for a second straight year. The Rappahannock Record reports the Town Council voted unanimously to eliminate town tag sales for 2021. Tag sales were halted last year as the COVID-19 pandemic began. The Council had budgeted $6,500 for tag sales which usually are held in late March and early April.
