AARP Helping Middle Peninsula Taxpayers To Prepare Returns

With the tax deadline a month away the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program is helping individuals of low to moderate income prepare their 2020 returns. The Foundation’s Middlesex County Coordinator Godwin Jones tells the Southside Sentinel there’s around 30 IRS-certified volunteers in the Middle Peninsula this year who can prepare both federal and Virginia tax returns. Qualified taxpayers can get an AARP tax packet at the Cryer Center in Locust Hill or at the Deltaville or Urbanna libraries.
