The Virginia Department of Transportation announced that road resuracing work in the town of West Point that was to begin on Monday is now delayed until Mar. 29. It will take place south of 14th St. and will be done in 3 phases beginning with preparing the road surface. Crews will begin on 1st Street and proceed north. The work will continue through June with most occuring on weekdays but periodic weekend work is also possible.
