Westmoreland County Sheriff Addresses Racing Event

Westmoreland County Sheriff C.O Balderson and Major John Hoover spoke at a recent Board of Supervisors meeting about a race event at Custom T’s Motorsports Park which attracted so many people there was chaos outside the track. The Northern Neck News reports the two talked about seeing drivers on Longfield Road hitting close to triple digit speeds while others were performing unsafe maneuvers in business parking lots. Balderson said they in his words “dodged a bullet” in saying no one was injured or killed.
