The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office is participating in Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Takeback Day on Saturday, April 24 between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. It’s a safe way to dispose of expired and no longer needed prescription drugs and it also keeps them from getting into the hands of drug abusers. A drop off box will be located outside of the Sheriff’s Office main entry door. A deputy will be there to provide assistance. The event is no questions asked.
