The Kilmarnock Museum opens for the 2021 season next Thursday. Museum president Carroll Lee Ashburn tells the Rappahannock Record there will be photographs and artifacts of the Great Kilmarnock Fire of 1952 on display, along with many new and interesting items which were recently obtained. Hours are from 11:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays. The Museum is an all-volunteer organization with no paid personnel and relies on donations and grants to operate.
