A pair of King and Queen County Sheriff’s deputies responding to a call about trash dumping took it upon themselves to help clean things up. The deputies identified as Sergeant Simmons and Deputy Wright went to an Apple Road location and the two gathered up the debris including several car tires. Sergeant Simmons then used his personal vehicle to haul the garbage to the dump on his day off. The Sheriff’s Office reminds citizens to properly dispose of trash.
