Mathews County Public Schools will switch to a 4-day-per-week in-person schedule starting Apr. 12. The Gazette Journal reports students currently attending in-person in the hybrid model will move to the new schedule with Wednesdays remaining a day for deep cleaning of the buildings. Parents of all-remote-learning students who want to change to in-person instruction should contact the school to be placed on a waiting list. Dismissal time will stay at 1:00 p.m.
