Middlesex Elementary School in Locust Hill is a step closer to getting a heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems upgrade. The Southside Sentinel reports the Middlesex County Board of Supervisors approved the nearly $1.7 million project with Honeywell Industries as recommended by the Middlesex County School Board. The district’s consulting engineers determed that doing the work all at once instead of spreading it out over several year is saving the district around $800,000. The next step is for the Board of Supervisors to arrange paying for the project.
