The Tappahannock Farmer’s Market opens for the season this Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Organizers say shoppers can celebrate the tastes of spring with ripe, in-season fruits and vegetables, freshly picked from local farms. Beyond fruit and veggies vendors are offering a variety of handmade crafts and other items. Mask wearing is encouraged and social distancing will be observed. The market is at Cross and Prince streets in Downtown Tappahannock and is held the 3rd Saturday of the month.
