A presentation of quilts from a national organization whose mission is to cover service members and veterans touched by war takes place at the Heathsville Farmers Market this Sunday. The Rappahannock Recprd reports the Northern Neck Patriotic Piecers, a Quilts of Valor Foundation chapter, will award 3 quilts at the market held at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern on Monument Place. Nationally over 263,000 quilts have been awarded. The Northern Neck Patriotic Piecers has 12 members.
