A grassroots organization seeking to get the Robert O. Norris Jr. Memorial Bridge replaced says they’re hoping funding will be included in President Biden’s $2 trillion proposed infrastructure bill. The founder of Facebook group “Replace the Robert O. Norris Bridge” tells the Rappahannock Record a letter was sent to multiple government officials so they are aware of the need to replace the nearly 65-year-old span. The bill is being considered by Congress and the Biden administrtion is looking at it being passed this summer.
