The cry of “play ball” will be heard Saturday at Dream Fields in Kilmarnock for the start of the Lancaster County Little League’s 2021 season. Ceremonies start at 2:00 p.m. and league president Tiffany Wolfe tells the Rappahannock Record it includes a tribute to the 1969 Brookvale High Fighting Warriors baseball team. There will also be fundraising raffle with a $10,000 grand prize. Around 165 baseball and softball players ages 4-16 will play on 15 teams this season.
