Imagine what it would be like if you’re heading back from an out of town trip and get a call that the front window of your home was smashed in. The Southside Sentinel reports that’s what happened to a Christchurch couple last month who came home to find it was a wayward turkey which smashed the window and trashed the place eventually finding sanctuary in the front bedroom. They got the bird out of the home and it went scampering into the woods.
