The suspect who rammed an Essex County Sheriff’s Deputy’s cruiser is the Haynesville man who was wanted in a Richmond County pursuit that happened a day earlier. Police say Jacob Kline was at a Wrights Mill Road home when he drove out of a garage and hit the police car. Kline then took off on foot and was apprehended a short time later. He also had arrest warrants in King and Queen County.
