House Of Delegates To Resume In Person Sessions

Virginia House of Delegates speaker Eileen Filler-Corn announced the body will meet in person for the first time since COVID-19. Filler-Corn says “With coronavirus infection rates falling and the Commonwealth’s vaccination rollout program among the best in the country, it is time delegates return where they belong, in the Capitol, in the People’s Chamber” . The move comes days after Gov. Ralph Northam moved up the effective date to lift all coronavirus-related restrictions to May 28 – 2 weeks earlier than originally planned.
